Beautiful art
Experience artist Henry Moore's iconic artwork against the backdrop of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. You can visit the artist's former home, studios and sculpture gardens. The home is open from April and only throughout the summer. The gardens showcase Moore's iconic sculptures in a beautiful setting.
Opening times
3 April to 25 October, 11am - 5pm. Wednesday to Sunday & Bank Holidays
Hoglands House Tours
During your visit to the Studios & Gardens you may also choose to take a guided tour of Hoglands, Henry Moore's family home, which houses his own art collection and the many fascinating objects that inspired his work.
Tours
Tours take place every half hour between 11.30am and 3.30pm, with eight tickets available for each tour. Tickets for Hoglands can be purchased on your arrival at the ticket desk. Due to the very limited capacity of the tours, advanced booking is not available. Hoglands tickets are very popular at weekends and during peak season, so it is advised arriving at the opening of 11am to avoid disappointment.
Group visits
Booking is open for groups of ten or more wishing to visit. To make a booking for your group, please read the Group visits page on the website and send in an enquiry form.
School visits
The Henry Moore foundation offer free visits to school and educational groups on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at either 9.50am or 10.20am. Please visit the School Visits page to find out more about this and for all other information.
